Homemade Parmigiana Bagels

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 organic bread flour- I like to use King Arthur

  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1 egg

  • Freshly grated parmigiana

  • Sea Salt

  • Ground Black Pepper

  • Spices: Garlic Powder + Onion Powder

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a large mixing bowl, add bread flour, greek yogurt, sea salt, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and onion powder. Mix together with your hands. FYI, this part can get messy. Form into a dough ball.

  • Divide the dough ball into 6 pieces. Roll out into 6 bagel shapes and place on the baking sheet.

  • Whisk 1 egg and lightly brush each bagel with the egg wash. Sprinkle parmigiana cheese onto each bagel.

  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks in an airtight container.
